Construction shocker

One of the biggest killers of construction workers is falls through unprotected or inadequately protected voids. Not only is this void unprotected, it’s also being used as the main point of access to the building for the workers onsite. One slip on this improvised access ramp could have been fatal!

Remember, all voids must be protected to prevent people falling, either by handrails, or fully planking them out. Also, if you are going to use ramps as access, the ramp should be securely fixed into position to prevent movement whilst people are traversing them.
